A call to serve is a call to prepare.
As most of you know I plan, organize, focus on detail, etc. I do believe we are all called to prepare in some ways but that we also must hold "our plans" lightly. God, in His sovereignty may change "our plans" in a split second. So, as I plan and prepare for my upcoming training in July with ABWE please pray that I will hold my plans lightly. My desire is for God's will to be done in my life and in each of yours.
Training is July 9th through July 24th in Pennsylvania and Virginia. Please pray that I may be prepared for the training as well as the meeting with the board. Pray that travels would work out, for safety and for the other missionary candidates who will be attending. I look forward to meeting the rest of the July 2015 ABWE candidate class. Pray for the missionaries in West Africa as they are praying about possible ministry changes there. At my training I will officially be commissioned to a certain country, pray that I would keep an open heart and mind and that I would boldly go where God plans for me to be.
