Welcome

Hi everyone, I am very new to the world of blogging so please be patient.  As some of you know I recently attended a one day Medical Missions Seminary through the International Mission Board.  Yes, God is working big things in my life and in all of our lives.  I feel He is opening up many doors and opportunities to pursue full time Missions work.  I do not know His agenda and I am just trying to be obedient and pursue the opportunities He is providing.

As I go forward (with much prayer) to see what God has in store for me I am asking for your prayer support.  The key to anything is prayer and to help me with this I am asking you to please pray for me and the opportunities God will provide.  My desire is to be His humble and obedient servant in my life today and wherever He leads me.

I will be updating this blog at least once per month (around the first) with specific prayer requests and updates on where things are in this journey.  I would humbly ask if you are willing to please view the blog, feel free to appropriately comment and to pray.  I am striving to build a strong prayer foundation and prayer core group before I take any steps as I know there will be many spiritual attacks.

The beginning of Psalm 62 is up there as I know He is my rock and my salvation (this is my life verse and also where the name of the blog comes from Strong / Solid Rock in Spanish).

Thanks for the prayers.

Salmos 62

Al director musical. Para Jedutún. Salmo de David.
1 Sólo en Dios halla descanso mi *alma;
de él viene mi *salvación.
2 Sólo él es mi *roca y mi salvación;
él es mi protector.
¡Jamás habré de caer!

Psalm 62[a]
For the director of music. For Jeduthun. A psalm of David.
1 Truly my soul finds rest in God;
my salvation comes from him.
2 Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
