BELIEVE

What a powerful and frightening word.  It is defined as: to have the confidence in the truth, the existence, or the reliability of something, although without absolute proof that one is right in doing so.
God places promises in our hearts; most important is His promise of salvation and blessings for those that surrender to Him as Lord and Savior.  How these blessings come about is God’s plan and purpose.  In His word He provides us direction and guidance.  Our responsibility as believers in Christ is to place each day before the Lord and wait in anticipation and expectation of what He will do with it.  This sounds so easy, but I get distracted by the hustle and bustle of life, the stressors and the demands that seem to grow more each and every day.  So, please pray that I would seek God and His plan for the day each am and I will also pray this for you.  Just like Abraham who was promised a great many offspring we must wait expectantly preparing for God’s blessing.
Part of the process of waiting is not allowing ourselves to be paralyzed by fear.  Thanking God for what we have and for what He will provide.  As well as remembering to keep our eyes on Jesus not our current circumstances.  Belief needs to be a constant attitude.

I do believe full time missionary work is in God’s plan for me.  Things are moving along, I have all of my references in with ABWE as well as my self assessment and took a theology and doctrine exam.  Early this Spring I will have an oral interview, pray for that please.  If God continues to move the application along then July will be an intensive training program and final commissioning.  After this the fund raising process begins.  I do have preliminary prayer cards if you would like one please let me know and I can mail one to you or give to you.
Thank you for your continued support and encouragement and please know I am lifting you up to our Lord and believing in His blessings for each of you.
